Administration
Sahat Ektrakul (Peter) – Born in Thailand and raised in a Chinese family, Sahat (fondly called Peter by the westerners in his life) learned early the value of education and hard work. Peter is a strong influence in Nonthaburi, a well-established and extremely well-traveled businessman with contacts around the globe. Educated both in Thailand and abroad, Peter is a fine spokesman for bilingualism. He speaks four languages effortlessly and even completed a Master's degree using English.
Sahat has a Bachelor's degree is in electrical engineering and a Master degree in Christian Education.
Surang Ektrakul (Sue) – Sue is a passionate educator who can be found working out issues on her phone before anyone arrives at school and long after everyone has gone home and gone to bed! Before she married Peter in 1979, Sue had already traveled and studied extensively. Born to teach, Sue studied education, and once she started her family, she also started a kindergarten out of their shop-house.
This venture grew even as her family did, and she was able to very successfully combine motherhood with an educational/ ministry/ business venture that grown into Global English School. Also proficiently multilingual, speaking 5 languages, Sue believes in her work and it shows
Janwimon Ektrakul (Esther) - Esther graduated from Liberty University in 2007 with a degree in Elementary Education. After completing her student teaching at Kunming International Academy (KIA) in Kunming, China she signed on with KIA and worked as a 3rd grade teacher for 2 years. Janwimon is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Education Administration from Liberty University and has returned to her home town to work as the administrator at Global English School. Janwimon has a unique and valuable understanding of GES as she spent most her childhood watching and helping her parents make the school what is today. Her love for education, commitment to students & teachers, and fluency in both Thai and English make her a prime candidate for success as a leader at GES.

GES STAFF 2009/2010

GES brings people from around the world together giving them an opportunity to explore a culture, learn the art of teaching, and bring light to a dark place through the love of Jesus Christ. The Foreign staff is made up of Christians with a heart to reach the world for Christ directly through interaction with the children and indirectly through relationships with the largely Buddhist Thai staff. Canadian and American teachers partner with Thai teachers and staff to achieve a bilingual education for the 300 students that attend Global English School. In the process, each student and staff member is exposed to the love of Jesus through the lives of His servants. You don’t have to be an extraordinary person to succeed as a teacher at Global English School; you simply have to serve an extraordinary God and have a vested interest in making His glory known in your life and in the nations.
